When starting the project, we needed a comprehensive strategy as Siloam Hospital’s competitors, including other health service providers and authoritative institutions. Before our collaboration, Siloam Hospitals was still unable to compete with larger websites in the health niche.
Rendering Issue
Siloam Hospitals website was built using Client Side Rendering (CSR), in which all rendering is carried out with Javascript. Therefore, the client will load the skeleton first and then hit the server to get the full page.
Based on the condition above, a stable architecture and server are needed so that during the crawling process, the crawler will get a full page rather than a skeleton. However, at the end of November, there was a server migration, resulting in a server environment change, making the full pages loading the website slower. As a result, the crawler indexes the skeleton rather than the page itself.
